Nina is a communications coordinator with a background in geography and urban studies.
Her experiences in communications, marketing, and engagement, combined with her studies in urban planning and human geography, shape her approach to communicating urban challenges and solutions.
She previously worked as a Communications and Engagement Assistant at the University of British Columbia’s Sustainability Hub, where she created written and visual content to support a variety of programs and initiatives. Nina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Geography and Urban Studies from the University of British Columbia.
Her interests include walkability, efficient public transit, and disaster-resilient cities. She is passionate about building more livable, inclusive urban spaces and contributing to meaningful change in the field.
